Laptops For Meritorious Blind Girls
All India Confederation of the Blind invites applications in the prescribed Performa (copy enclosed) from deserving visually impaired female college/university going students except South Indian States, Maharashtra, Goa, Daman & Diu to avail a chance to win a Laptop through a competitive skill test in computer applications.
About 20 successful visually impaired girls will be provided Laptops on 4th January, 2017 on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Louis Braille in a grand function. The Scheme is being sponsored by CBM/Marga Schulze Foundation, Germany. The purpose of the competitive skill test is to identify skilled and deserving female college/university going V.I. students who have not so far received computer/laptop from any other organization and who can work on computer without any difficulty.
The last date for reaching the application in this office is 30th November, 2016 and no application thereafter shall be entertained. Skill test for shortlisted candidates shall take place on 11th December at 9.30 a.m. in
